Cold in Upper Thailand and Strong Wind-Waves in South"

       The ridge of intense high pressure area from China still extends to cover upper Thailand and the South China Sea. Cooler weather with 2-3 °C drops and windy will be likely over the North, the Northeast, the East and the Central including Bangkok and vicinity. High mountains will experience very cold weather and frost. People are advised to wear thick clothes due to sudden changeable weather.
       The active northeast monsoon prevails over The Gulf and the South-east coast of Thailand. Scattered thundershower and isolated heavy falls in the South east-coast from Nakhon Si Thammarat southward with waves 2-4 meters high in the lower Gulf from Nakhon Si Thammarat southward. Residents along the coast are warned of high surf. All ships should proceed with caution and small boats stay ashore.
       The advisory is in effect for Thailand from 11 December 2011.
