Our task must be to free ourselves from this prison by widening our circle of compassion to embrace all living creatures and the whole of nature in its beauty."

Don't wake up the forgotten dreams.
Don't color the white clouds in the sky with beams.
Don't break the beautifully shaped evenings into dim.
Afraid of "Love you so much" and seem.
Tired of soloing sad songs alone at nearby stream.

Bonnie Tyler - Total Eclipse of the heart

Turnaround, every now and then I get a
little bit lonely and you're never coming around
Turnaround, Every now and then I get a
little bit tired of listening to the sound of my tears
Turnaround, Every now and then I get a
little bit nervous that the best of all the years have gone by
Turnaround, Every now and then I get a
little bit terrified and then I see the look in your eyes
Turnaround bright eyes, Every now and
then I fall apart
Turnaround bright eyes, Every now and
then I fall apart

Turnaround, Every now and then I get a
little bit restless and I dream of something wild
Turnaround, Every now and then I get a
little bit helpless and I'm lying like a child in your arms
Turnaround, Every now and then I get a
little bit angry and I know I've got to get out and cry
Turnaround, Every now and then I get a
little bit terrified but then I see the look in your eyes
Turnaround bright eyes, Every now and
then I fall apart
Turnaround bright eyes, Every now and
then I fall apart

And I need you now tonight
And I need you more than ever
And if you'll only hold me tight
We'll be holding on forever
And we'll only be making it right
Cause we'll never be wrong together
We can take it to the end of the line
Your love is like a shadow on me all of the time
I don't know what to do and I'm always in the dark
We're living in a powder keg and giving off sparks
I really need you tonight
Forever's gonna start tonight
Forever's gonna start tonight

Once upon a time I was falling in love
But now I'm only falling apart
There's nothing I can do
A total eclipse of the heart
Once upon a time there was light in my life
But now there's only love in the dark
Nothing I can say
A total eclipse of the heart

Turnaround bright eyes
Turnaround bright eyes
Turnaround, every now and then I know
you'll never be the boy you always you wanted to be
Turnaround, every now and then I know
you'll always be the only boy who wanted me the way that I am
Turnaround, every now and then I know
there's no one in the universe as magical and wonderous as you
Turnaround, every now and then I know
there's nothing any better and there's nothing I just wouldn't do
Turnaround bright eyes, Every now and
then I fall apart
Turnaround bright eyes, Every now and
then I fall apart

And I need you now tonight
And I need you more than ever
And if you'll only hold me tight
We'll be holding on forever
And we'll only be making it right
Cause we'll never be wrong together
We can take it to the end of the line
Your love is like a shadow on me all of the time
I don't know what to do and I'm always in the dark
We're living in a powder keg and giving off sparks
I really need you tonight
Forever's gonna start tonight
Forever's gonna start tonight

Once upon a time I was falling in love
But now I'm only falling apart
There's nothing I can do
A total eclipse of the heart
Once upon a time there was light in my life
But now there's only love in the dark
Nothing I can say
A total eclipse of the heart

House of the setting sun

Brooklyn, New York (VBS.TV) -- For the launch of VICE magazine in Mexico, we decided to make an entire issue about Mexico, written entirely by Mexicans.
At the same time, we came up with the idea of producing a parallel version of that issue in video for VBS.TV and populate our site with documentaries about Mexico, local artists, local musicians and beautiful Mexican girls for the entire month.
Since then, we repeated the same concept when we launched the magazine in Brazil, and we produced an entire month of content about China during the Olympics.
Producer Santiago Stelley and I spent a few weeks in Mexico City producing an hour-long documentary about nighttime crime photographers, interviewing some of the best bands and artists in the city and shooting a project about B movies inspired by the lives of drug traffickers.
A couple of days before Mother's Day, I got to spend a few days at an amazing place called Casa Xochiquetzal (The House of the Beautiful Flowers), a retirement home for older prostitutes in Tepito, one of the sketchiest neighborhoods in the city.
I went there with Guillermo Rivero, who wrote the print version of the article, and I produced the documentary version of the same story. The house has a minimum age requirement of 60 and can accommodate up to 45 women. Right now, there are only 23 retired ladies of the night living there. The majority of them continue working, because there are still people who want to pay to have sex with them.
We had the opportunity to meet some of the women that live there, such as 86-year-old Reyna, who sang for us and told us stories of her youth, and Lourdes, a childless widow in her 60s who is still turning tricks.
We met Canela, a woman in her 80s who was soft spoken and looked incredibly tired. She had stopped working just a few years ago and now sells candies for a living. Finally, we spent some time with Paola, a 61-year-old who is still a sex worker and hopes to continue working for as many years as she can.
We ended up spending Mother's Day with them at what was perhaps the most bittersweet party I've attended.
The women were dancing and eating and drinking punch together, they joked around and seemed to be having a great time. But at some point, Paola started talking to me about her sons, whom she hasn't seen in years and never really visit her. She also talked about the kids of many of the other women in the house -- none of them present at this party -- to celebrate motherhood.
Most of these women actually ended up becoming prostitutes to support their children as their only means of survival.
I think the work that this house and its director Rosalba Rios do -- as weird and unusual as it may seem -- is incredibly valuable. Spending Mother's Day with these brave women forever changed they way l look at prostitution and without a doubt has been one of the most intense parties I've ever attended.

6.6 magnitude quake hits Japan

A strong, 6.6 magnitude earthquake hit northern Japan Sunday afternoon, but no tsunami warning was issued, US and Japanese authorities said.
File photo shows members of a Japanese earthquake rescue team. A strong, 6.6 magnitude earthquake hit northern Japan Sunday afternoon, said the Japanese government, which did not issue a tsunami warning.
The quake struck at 5:08 pm (0808 GMT) in the Pacific off Fukushima prefecture, 250 kilometres (155 miles) north of Tokyo, the US Geological Survey (USGS) and the Japanese Meteorological Agency said in separate statements.
"It is possible that the tidal level would change slightly. But there is no worry about damage," the Japanese agency said.
There were no immediate reports of casualties or damage.
The quake was strong enough to sway skyscrapers in Tokyo, where national television networks had issued flash warnings of a possible large quake before the tremors could be felt in the capital.
The USGS put the quake's depth at 26.4 kilometres (16.4 miles), while the Japanese agency said it was 40 kilometres (24.8 miles) deep.
Some train services in the region, including the Shinkansen bullet trains, stopped immediately after the quake, but gradually resumed normal operations.

Statement on Planned Political Demonstrations

Embassy of the United States of America
March 11, 2010
Statement on Planned Political Demonstrations
Thailand is a close friend and ally of the United States.
And as a long-time friend, we are closely watching the current situation in Thailand.  The United States believes that differences should be addressed through Thailand’s democratic institutions and not through violence.
Peaceful demonstrations are a hallmark of a democratic society.  We call on protesters and their leaders to forswear the use of violence and to exercise their right to assemble and protest peacefully, in accordance with the law.  We also encourage the Royal Thai Government to exercise appropriate restraint.
This message alerts U.S. citizens traveling to or residing in Thailand that political demonstrations by the United Front for Democracy Against Dictatorship (aka UDD or “red-shirts”) are expected to begin in Bangkok towards the end of this week and could last well into next week.  The main demonstration is expected to occur near Government House and along Ratchadamnoen Road in the Dusit district of Bangkok, but the UDD has also announced plans for demonstrations in other parts of town.  As a result, traffic congestion and difficulty of movement is possible throughout Bangkok.   U.S. citizens should be alert to the possibility of UDD demonstrations or gatherings elsewhere in Thailand as well.
While UDD leadership has pledged that the demonstrations will be peaceful, the possibility of violence cannot be ruled out and the government has invoked the Internal Security Act (ISA), which gives the police and military expanded powers to maintain security.  U.S. citizens are reminded of the small bombs which exploded (or were detected) in Bangkok in late February; Thai authorities are closely monitoring the possibility of similar occurrences.
Therefore, U.S. citizens should, particularly over the March 12-14 weekend, pay close attention to public sources of information, including media reporting and the U.S. Embassy website, concerning events on the streets of Bangkok and should be aware of their surroundings at all times.  We remind U.S. citizens that even demonstrations intended to be peaceful can turn confrontational and possibly escalate into violence.  U.S. citizens are therefore urged to avoid the areas of demonstrations and to exercise caution in their movements around Bangkok or if within the vicinity of any demonstrations.
U.S. citizens traveling or residing in Thailand are encouraged to register with the Department of State or the U.S. Embassy.

အနားသတ္ (Boundary)

 May Peace Prevail On Earth.

Meteor's night

I was being isolated by the laws of life.
I was being treated like a diver knows nowhere to dive.
I knew this is not right.
I just saw the bright light.
May be a meteor strikes the night.
